Der US-Comedian Kevin Hart (bekannt aus Filmen wie «Jumanji» oder «Ride Along») wird die Oscar-Verleihung im Frühjahr 2019 nun doch nicht moderieren. Das teilte der Komiker am Freitag auf Twitter mit.
Auf Twitter schrieb der Comedian:
I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's....this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.

Erst am Mittwoch war bekanntgegeben worden, dass Hart die prestigereiche Preisverleihung in Los Angeles moderieren soll. Wer ihn ersetzen soll, ist nicht bekannt. (pb/watson.de)
