Alle Hoffnungen, Wünsche und Träume des gebeutelten Eurovision-Prügelknaben Schweiz ruhen auf den Schultern eines sympathischen jungen Tessiners namens Sebastiano Paù-Lessi. Unter den Namen Sebalter gibt er auf der Eurovisions-Bühne von Kopenhagen den Song «Hunter of Stars» zum Besten.
Haben Sie mal auf den Text geachtet? Wir auch nicht. Macht nichts, denn Eurovision.tv stellt freundlicherweise dem geneigten Zuhörer sämtliche Lyrics zur Verfügung:

Sebastiano ist also «nass und dreckig» und er «brüllt wie ein Löwe». Es hat «böse Satelliten», «Kandidaten» und «Optionen». Und wir sind verwirrt. Vielleicht ist es gar nicht so schlimm, dass man bei seinem Gesang kein Wort davon versteht.
Doch keine Bange, reichlich bizarre Songtexte haben eine lange Tradition im Wettbewerb – was wenig verwunderlich ist, da für die grosse Mehrheit der Künstler Englisch, die beliebteste Songsprache Eurovisions, Fremdsprache ist. Da wird munter «fire» mit «desire» gereimt; «wings» und «flying» sind gerne genommene Metaphern.
Deshalb ohne weiteres Aufheben: die beste Zeile jedes einzelnen Songs des diesjährigen Song Contests in alphabetischer Reihenfolge!

Der Auftritt war schon lange vor dem österlichen WEF-Knall geplant. Umso mehr Aufmerksamkeit zog Nestlé-Doyen Peter Brabeck an der Detailhandelstagung in Horgen ZH auf sich. Denn seit Ostersonntag ist der 80-Jährige nicht mehr nur die «Legende der Nahrungsmittelindustrie», als die er am Branchenkongress vorgestellt wurde. Sondern er hat einen viel beachten neuen Job: Brabeck fungiert als Interimspräsident des WEF-Stiftungsrats. Nachdem Klaus Schwab, 87, mit sofortiger Wirkung zurückgetreten war, übernahm er als dessen Vize das Präsidium.
