Unvergessen

Das beste Team, das jemals Basketball gespielt hat, verzaubert die ganze Welt

26. Juli 1992: Die Gegner? Statisten. Olympiagold? Ein Spaziergang. Die US-Basketballer um Jordan, Barkley, Johnson und Co. dominieren in Barcelona nach Belieben. Das erste Spiel gegen Angola gewinnen sie mit 68 Punkten Vorsprung.

Sommer 1992. Dänemark ist bei der Fussball-EM in Schweden völlig überraschend Europameister geworden, doch nur einen Monat später interessiert sich auf dem alten Kontinent niemand mehr für Fussball. Plötzlich spricht jeder über Basketball, über das Dream Team, über Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley und ihre Teamkollegen. Doch nicht nur Europa, die ganze Welt freut sich auf das Dream Team aus den USA.

Dass erstmals die besten Basketballer der Welt bei Olympia teilnehmen …
