Etwas darzustellen, das verschwunden ist, ist gar nicht so einfach. Deswegen hat sich die CNN für die Berichterstattung über die verschollene Boeing 777 etwas ganz Besonderes einfallen lassen: «Wer braucht schon aufwändige Grafiken, wenn es auch ein Spielzeugflugzeug tut?», hat sich die Nachrichtenredaktion wohl gedacht. Und schon war eine geniale Idee geboren.

Den Einfall mit dem Spielzeugflugzeug fand man beim Sender offenbar so brillant, dass dieses gleich mehrmals «gechartert» wurde: Diverse Nachrichtensprecher und -sprecherinnen hantierten ab jetzt mit dem Modelljet herum, um mögliche Szenarien zu visualisieren.
