Das sind die 50 wertvollsten Schallplatten

Vinyl ist wieder en Vogue, weswegen bestimmte Platten von berühmten Musikern wie den Beatles oder Pink Floyd besonders beliebt und wertvoll sein können. Das sind die 50 bisher teuersten Schallplatten.

Sie geben nicht nur ein Gefühl von Nostalgie, sie können sogar eine Wertanlage sein: Die Rede ist von Schallplatten. Einige können bei Sammlern schon mal ein kleines (oder auch grosses) Vermögen kosten.

Gründe, wieso gewisse Exemplare so beliebt sind, sind Seltenheit (besonders limitierte Editionen), Zustand, Verpackung oder musikhistorische Bedeutung. Mit letzterem sind Alben gemeint, die eine ganze Generation geprägt haben oder mit der die Künstler neue musikalische Wege eingegangen sind. Auch Besonderheiten der Pressung können den Wert einer Platte beeinflussen, schreibt «Focus».

Sie brechen Höchstwerte

Rekordpreise haben folgende Schallplatten erzielt:

• Wu-Tang Clan: Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. Die Doppel-LP wurde nur ein einziges Mal gepresst und ist somit ein Unikat. 2015 kaufte es für rund zwei Millionen US-Dollar der Pharmaunternehmer Martin Shkreli.
• Die Beatles: White Album, Seriennummer 0000001. Es gibt davon zwar einige Millionen Exemplare, das mit der niedrigen Seriennummer und Top-Zustand wurde jedoch für über 700'000 US-Dollar versteigert. Davor gehörte es Ringo Starr.
• John Lennon: Double Fantasy mit Autogramm. Kurz vor seinem Tod signierte John Lennon einem Fan eine Ausgabe seines Albums mit Yoko Ono. Die Platte wurde für rund 150'000 US-Dollar versteigert.
• Elvis Presleys: My Happiness. Das (erste) Demotape von 1953 kostete den Sänger im Tonstudio vier Dollar. Später wurde es für über 300'000 US-Dollar versteigert.
• Bob Dylan: The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan, Originalfassung. Auf einigen frühen Exemplaren dieses Albums waren vier Songs darauf, die später gestrichen wurden, was die Platte deshalb so wertvoll macht.
